Max Kwok is a sixth-grade student at Bridge Water Middle School. Two years ago, his parents were looking for an online education program to enrich his math and English skills and stumbled upon Afficient Academy’s AI-driven personalized learning programs.
Since starting in September 2022 at Afficient Academy, Max has improved his math skills significantly and progressed from Grade 4 to Grade 8, and he is now a top student in his class. According to his teachers, Max has continuously improved his MAP scores, and his parents attribute this achievement to Afficient Academy.
Max’s success is because of several factors. First, Afficient Academy’s personalized approach to learning has helped Max to focus on the areas where he needs the most help. Second, the program’s use of data and analytics has allowed Max to track his progress and see how far he has come. Finally, the program’s teachers have been a great source of support and encouragement for Max. “Max enjoys the program’s systematic teaching and long-term goal setting,” says his Academic Advisor at Afficient Academy.
Apart from his academic interests, Max loves swimming, playing violin, and playing Roblox online. He has earned a black belt in Taekwondo and is very passionate about crafts.
Max’s story is an inspiration to other students who are struggling with math. It shows that it is possible to overcome any obstacle with hard work and dedication. Max’s advice to other students is simple: “The key is to do a bit every day. Keep it up!”
